In the following you can access different websites to get informed about your special topic and to find out what you need to do:
Step 1:
Come together in a group of four people and discuss with your classmates which topic you want to work on.
Decide between these five topics: People, Freshwater, Oceans, Ecosystems and Temperature.
Step 2:
Firstly, watch the video "Global Warming Facts" to get an overview about how global warming influences our lives.

Access the following site http://www.climatehotmap.org/ and look around what you can find about your topic. Decide for one continent and have a look at the regional solutions to find more links.

In order to give a presentation afterwards you should decide which one of you takes which part in the presentation. You can choose between the following parts:
The introducer: The person tells the class which topic you worked on. He/She gives general information about the continent and which countries on their continent are mentioned to have problems with global warming. Support the presentation with something special like diagramms, videos, pictures, etc.
The realist: The person shows us what is happening on their continent and how global warming effects their special area.
The reporter: Supports the realist's points with some actual news.
The Doer: Look around what you can find about how your continent is working against the problem with global warming.

Prepare a presentation and give it in front of the whole class. The presentation should not be longer than 20 minutes so take a look at the evalutation and use it as an orientation.
